Fairways Trust was officially granted charity status in January 2014. Since then, the organisation has seen remarkable growthβexpanding from just 5 service users to accommodating 83 individuals within the first 18 months alone. In recognition of its significant work with diverse individuals and communities, Fairways Trust was invited to participate in the Commonwealth African Summit in London. Delegates from the Trust attended the three-day event, networking with dignitaries and representatives from various countries. The insights gained during the Summit have since enriched the Trustβs service delivery and approach. As part of its intake process, Fairways Trust uses a structured assessment tool to determine the suitability of applicants and to identify areas where support is needed. Insights from recent assessments show that:
Once accepted into the service, each individual receives a personalised support plan tailored to the issues identified in their initial assessment. This one-to-one planning approach ensures that each service user receives the guidance, tools, and encouragement needed to overcome their challenges and move toward a more stable and independent life.
Each individual undergoes a one-to-one assessment, after which suitable accommodation is arranged within our services. Every resident receives a personalised support plan tailored to their needs, based on issues identified during their initial assessment. This ensures focused and structured care throughout their stay.

Whether you're a volunteer, donor, or partner, your support helps us provide safe spaces, warm meals, and the opportunity for change.
We proudly partner with Medway Council, probation services, recovery programs, and healthcare professionals to support our community.
The Outcome Star is the assessment tool used by Fairways Accommodation Support Trust during the initial one-on-one meeting with prospective service users. This tool helps us evaluate each individualβs needs and tailor their support plan accordingly.
Each area scored reflects the percentage of service users presenting challenges in that specific category. These results directly shape the personal support plans we create for every individual in our care.
Fairways Trust has successfully supported a wide range of service users with diverse and complex needs. To date, 60 individuals have moved on from our care, while 23 service users are currently accommodated and receiving support.
We are proud to share the positive outcomes achieved by those who have transitioned from our services:
These achievements reflect the effectiveness of our tailored support plans and collaborative care approach.

Fairways Trust is pleased to report that it has been accepted by Greggs the Bakers to receive daily end-of-day food donations from several shops across Kent. These donations, along with regular contributions from Tesco and KFC, enable us to feed over 300 homeless individuals weekly in the community.
In addition, Fairways Trust is an approved distributor of Medway Food Bank vouchers. Service users experiencing crisis situations can visit our office for an assessment. If qualified, they are issued vouchers valid for a week's groceries, redeemable at food bank centers across Medway, including the Salvation Army on Ordnance Street in Chatham. A maximum of 4 vouchers can be issued per individual annually to encourage sustainable living.
